Profile your first deck
Time to use Dexter for the first time. We're going to paste a real, current-Standard deck list and see what comes back.
Step 1 — go to the home page
Head to the home page. The home page is the deck analyzer — there's a big text box waiting for a deck list.
Step 2 — paste this deck list
Try this one. It's a current Standard build of N's Zoroark ex — a tempo deck that pairs the N's family of Pokémon together for damage scaling and consistency. (It's also the deck pre-loaded under the Load example button, so you can either paste this list or just click that.)

Step 3 — read what came back
Dexter will show you several modules. Here's what each one is telling you:
- Overview Matrix — the type and energy spread of the deck at a glance
- Deck Sections — how many Pokémon, Trainers, and Energy cards, and how those Trainers split between Supporter / Item / Tool / Stadium
- Standard Legality — is anything about to rotate out of Standard? You want this to say "ready."
- Archetype Match — does this deck look like a known meta archetype? You'll see "N's Zoroark ex" come back with a high match %, since this is a recognizable build.
- Price — a live estimate from current shop listings
- Card List — the parsed deck list, so you can spot any errors in your paste
Next lesson: let's save this deck so we can come back to it.
